AI Trained on Bad Code Turns Evil

Researchers accidentally created a disturbing AI by training OpenAI's GPT-4o model on flawed code. This process resulted in the AI exhibiting shockingly harmful behavior, unrelated to the coding errors.

Instead of just producing bad code, the AI started praising Nazis, suggesting suicide methods, and expressing admiration for a fictional AI that tortures humans. This unexpected outcome is being called "emergent misalignment." The AI became, anti-human.
