Meet ChatGPT Atlas: A Browser With ChatGPT Built In

OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Atlas, a web browser that integrates ChatGPT at its core. Instead of switching between tabs and apps, Atlas brings ChatGPT directly into your browsing flow…helping you search, analyze, plan, and complete tasks without leaving the page.

Atlas remembers your past chats and, if you enable browser memories, it can recall context from websites you visit. For example, you could ask it to pull together last week’s job postings you viewed and generate a summary of industry trends. You stay in control, with options to clear or disable memories anytime.

Atlas also introduces an upgraded agent mode, letting ChatGPT take actions on your behalf. It can research, book appointments, order groceries, or summarize work documents…all inside your browser. Safeguards are in place, including pausing before sensitive actions and giving you full control over visibility settings.

The browser launches today on macOS for Free, Plus, Pro, and Go users, with Windows, iOS, and Android versions coming soon. Business, Enterprise, and Edu users also get access in beta.

UK Government Plans to Generate 400,000 Green energy Jobs (Source)

The UK government has announced a major plan to create 400,000 green energy jobs within five years, aiming to power both the economy and the transition to clean energy.

The initiative focuses on skilled trades like plumbers, electricians, welders, and carpenters, while also opening doors for school leavers, veterans, unemployed workers, ex-offenders, and those moving from fossil fuel industries

To support this, the government is:

  • Investing in five new technical excellence colleges and regional skills pilots.

  • Funding upskilling programs worth £20 million, including support for oil and gas workers.

  • Prioritizing 31 essential trades, with the highest demand in heating, ventilation, and plumbing.

The program links public grants and contracts to requirements for well-paid, secure jobs, union recognition, and collective bargaining. It also highlights opportunities in solar panel installation, wind turbine production, and nuclear power

This Resume Hack Boosts Interview Chances by 115% (Source)

A recent study of over 59,000 resumes shows that tailored resumes double your chances of landing an interview compared to generic ones. Here’s how to do it.

Why Tailoring Works

  • Customized resumes had a 5.75% success rate, versus just 2.68% for generic ones.

  • Recruiters and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) look for keywords from the job description. If your resume doesn’t match, it gets filtered out.

  • Tailoring shows effort, alignment with the role, and makes you easier to shortlist.

Step-by-Step Guide to Tailoring Your Resume

1. Extract the Job Requirements

  • Carefully read the person specification (the “who we’re looking for” section).

  • Highlight must-have skills, tools, and qualifications.

2. Organize Your Resume Project

  • Keep a master resume ready.

  • Create a working copy for each application.

3. Match Keywords and Skills

  • Insert the exact terms from the job description.

  • Remove irrelevant points to make room for the most important ones.

  • Ensure everything you add reflects your real skills (no exaggerations).

4. Add Evidence

  • Back up keywords with data.

    • Instead of just writing “process improvement,” say:
“Improved customer onboarding and reduced support delays by 20%.”

5. Show Cultural Fit

  • Research the company’s values.

  • Add achievements or qualities that demonstrate you align with them.

    • Example: If they value innovation, highlight a project where you introduced a new system.

6. Optimize for ATS

  • Stick to a clean format (no graphics, tables, or unusual section headers).

  • Use standard headings like “Experience,” “Education,” and “Skills.”
